Everyone loves them a good brisket – so, why not share the wealth and make some delicious pulled brisket canapés? Re-use your Friday night dinner with this creative canapé for your Saturday night guests. Smokey bbq spice, tender tasty meat, melted cheese, fresh chives….all on the most delicious of breads: challah. This one is definitely a winner. If you’re keeping it kosher, skip the cheese, but you might just want a bit of extra gravy!
- Preheat your oven to 200° F/100 C on the grill setting.
- Pull pieces of the brisket and place it on top of the Challah rounds. Spoon a bit of the gravy over the meat and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
- Place them on a baking tray and grill in the oven until the meat heats up and the cheese melts (approx 5-7 min). Garnish with chopped chives and serve with a bit more of the heated gravy on the side.
